World Tourism Day Celebrations
World Tourism Day is celebrated every year on September 27 in Alluri Sitarama Raju (ASR) District, Andhra Pradesh, to promote the region's rich natural beauty, tribal culture, and eco-tourism potential. The celebrations highlight renowned destinations such as Araku Valley, Borra Caves, Katiki Waterfalls, Ananthagiri Hills, and other scenic attractions across the district. The event features cultural performances, Dhimsa tribal dances, heritage walks, eco-tourism awareness programs, photography competitions, adventure activities, handicraft exhibitions, and food festivals showcasing authentic tribal cuisine and the world-famous Araku Coffee. Tourism stakeholders, local artisans, students, and visitors actively participate in the celebrations.
