The Proposed Blood Bank at the Area Hospital, Araku Valley is a landmark healthcare initiative aimed at strengthening emergency medical services for the tribal communities of Alluri Sitarama Raju District, Andhra Pradesh. The facility is being established within the premises of Area Hospital, Araku to provide timely access to safe blood and blood components, particularly for patients suffering from sickle cell anaemia, severe anaemia, maternal emergencies, trauma, and other critical medical conditions. The project was announced in early 2026 and is expected to significantly improve healthcare accessibility in the Araku Agency region. To establish a modern and reliable blood bank that ensures the availability of safe blood, enhances emergency healthcare services, and improves health outcomes for tribal communities across Araku Valley and the surrounding Agency
